Session 28 measured that stylesheet as the last render-blocking resource in prod. Now the files ship with the app, and each page ``s the three faces it paints with, so they start downloading in the FIRST wave instead of after a stylesheet parses. Declaring them here alone would have kept one hop — the URLs are not discoverable until this file is fetched and parsed, which is the same shape as the `@import` #98 removed. LATIN SUBSET ONLY. Google offered 50 faces across cyrillic, vietnamese and latin-ext; this is a US-English product (CLAUDE.md), and the rest is weight on first paint. OSWALD AND PUBLIC SANS ARE ONE VARIABLE FILE EACH, declared once per weight. That is exactly what Google was serving — the same file behind four URLs — so rendering is unchanged, but we ship one copy instead of four.
