/* ============================================================
   Self-hosted web fonts for the MARKETING SITE (#239).

   A COPY of web/fonts.css, deliberately. The apex site is a different origin on a
   different stack with no build step, so it cannot share the app's hashed bundle; the
   alternative was leaving the apex on fonts.googleapis.com, which is what #239 is. If a
   family is added or a file replaced, both copies change in the same edit, and
   test/infra/marketing-fonts.test.ts fails the build if they drift.

   WHY THIS MOVED. The apex loaded Google Fonts on every page, which put an undisclosed
   third-party processor in the visitor's path: Google receives the visitor's IP address
   and user agent on a request our own pages initiate. Privacy §7 and §11 describe who
   receives data, and neither named Google, so the pages made the Policy false. Fixed in
   the infrastructure rather than the sentence: no document changed, no PRIVACY_VERSION
   bump, no re-gating of every account.

   The rest of this file is web/fonts.css verbatim, including its licensing note, which
   applies here with more force rather than less: this stack redistributes the files too,
   so marketing/OFL.txt travels with them.

/* ============================================================
   Self-hosted web fonts (#99).
   ------------------------------------------------------------
   These used to come from fonts.googleapis.com, which put a THIRD-PARTY host on the
   render-blocking path: a DNS lookup, a TLS handshake and a stylesheet fetch had to
   finish before the browser even learned the font URLs — and those live on a SECOND
   host (fonts.gstatic.com), so the actual files cost another connection after that.
   Session 28 measured that stylesheet as the last render-blocking resource in prod.

   Now the files ship with the app, and each page `<link rel="preload">`s the three
   faces it paints with, so they start downloading in the FIRST wave instead of after
   a stylesheet parses. Declaring them here alone would have kept one hop — the URLs
   are not discoverable until this file is fetched and parsed, which is the same shape
   as the `@import` #98 removed.

   LATIN SUBSET ONLY. Google offered 50 faces across cyrillic, vietnamese and latin-ext;
   this is a US-English product (CLAUDE.md), and the rest is weight on first paint.

   OSWALD AND PUBLIC SANS ARE ONE VARIABLE FILE EACH, declared once per weight. That is
   exactly what Google was serving — the same file behind four URLs — so rendering is
   unchanged, but we ship one copy instead of four. Verified by hashing the downloads:
   12 files, 6 unique, 234KB -> 90KB.

   ⚠ LICENSING CHANGED WHEN THESE MOVED IN-HOUSE. Linking Google's CDN carried no OFL
   obligation — Google served the files and we never conveyed one. Serving them ourselves
   makes us a redistributor, and OFL 1.1 §2 then REQUIRES the copyright notice and the full
   license text to travel with the files. They do: `web/OFL.txt`, each family's notice
   reproduced verbatim. Adding a family here means adding its notice there in the SAME
   change. ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS.md called this flip in advance.

   `font-display: swap` is kept from Google's own CSS: text paints immediately in the
   fallback and reflows when the face arrives. The alternative blocks paint on a font.
