Your Free Statements and Subscribing
Updated
A new MyFuelSavings account includes a number of free statements. When they run out, a subscription lets you keep adding more.
Seeing How Many You Have Left
- On the Add data page, a line shows how many statements you’ve used and how many remain.
- In your profile, the Plan & billing tab shows the same count with a progress bar.
To open your profile, select the account button at the top right (your initial and first name), then Profile.
Uploading a statement you’ve already sent doesn’t count again.
When Your Free Statements Run Out
A file you upload after that isn’t analyzed, and nothing is wrong with it. You’ll see Allowance reached, with a button to subscribe and one to go to your dashboard. Subscribe, and you can upload the same file again.
Running out doesn’t remove anything you’ve already added: your statements, your dashboards and your data download are all still there. If you never subscribe, your account is eventually closed, and section 5.8 of the Terms of Service explains when.
Subscribing
- Open your profile and select Plan & billing.
- Select Subscribe. The button shows your yearly price.
- Select Subscribe again on the next page, and pay through Stripe, our payment processor.
The subscription is billed once a year and covers unlimited statements. If you have a partner code, add it before you subscribe.
After you pay, you’ll get an email confirming your subscription is active, and Plan & billing shows it as Active with its renewal date.
Receipts, Your Card and Canceling
All of these are on the Plan & billing tab.
- Receipts: each payment is listed with a link to its receipt as a PDF.
- Updating your card: select Manage billing on Stripe. When you’re done, Stripe brings you back to your profile.
- Canceling: select Cancel subscription, then Yes, cancel it. The tab shows the date your subscription ends, and you keep full access until then.
- Changing your mind: before that date, select Keep my subscription.
The Terms of Service cover billing, renewal and refunds.
